I’ve written about Louis Francois before, when the medical professionals thought his condition was mastocytosis. Well, on the positive side, Louis doesn’t have masto at all (praise God), but still his diagnosis is rather daunting. Little Louis has CAPS disease – a 1 in a million rarity.
His mother Theresa says, “Well, we’ve always known Louis was special, but 1 in a million?!?” She writes about the family’s adventure dealing with this new reality at CaringBridge, updating his page often, as new evidence shows itself:
Nothing much has changed since my last post, except that letter (affirming Louis’ condition). So, we continue to take one day at a time and leave the rest to God…it’s all we can do. But we wanted to let you know of the latest news, so you could continue to pray and PLEASE! Invite whomever you like to join in the prayers to beg for Blessed John Paul II’s intercession! THANK YOU!
Blessed John Paul II, please pray for Louis!
Thank you all for your love, your prayers and your kind words…we would never be able to get through these challenges without it… love and many blessings,
I’m posting Louis’ picture in my sidebar, hopefully to encourage all of us to keep him in prayer for healing, through the intercession of Blessed John Paul II.
Let us pray:
Prayer for the Canonization of Pope John Paul II
O Blessed Trinity,
we thank You for having graced the Church
with Pope John Paul II and for allowing
the tenderness of Your Fatherly care,
the glory of the cross of Christ,
and the splendor of the Holy Spirit,
to Shine through him.
Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary,
he has given us a living image of Jesus
the Good Shepherd, and has shown us that
holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary
Christian life and is the way of achieving
eternal communion with You.
Grant us, by his intercession,
and according to Your will,
the graces we implore…
that Louis be completely restored to health!
hoping that he will soon be
numbered among Your Saints. Amen.
Blessed John Paul II, pray for us!
